WordPress-to-React Rebuild
A Brisbane mortgage brokerage's full WordPress-to-React conversion — conversion mechanisms, a five-step assessment, and the calculator-and-guide content engine, shown as components and states with the brand cropped out.
A complete WordPress-to-React conversion for a Brisbane mortgage brokerage — the same engagement as the lifecycle-automation case study on this site. The legacy WordPress build had become the bottleneck: slow to load, slower to change, and structurally unable to carry the conversion mechanisms the funnel needed. The rebuild replaced it end to end, and a quarter's worth of roadmap shipped in the first three weeks after launch.
The five-step assessment
The primary conversion mechanism starts from intent — "What are you looking to do?" — and narrows to situation: segmented choices wherever a tap can replace typing, state and dependants handled in controls a distracted phone user can actually hit. Each step is a component state, not a page load, and the widget rides the hero on every major template.
The content engine
Underneath the funnel is a calculator-and-guide engine: every calculator page pairs the tool with a long-form guide, a table of contents, and an eligibility widget in the rail — the structure that keeps the site ranking while the components do the converting.
Components and states, not brand
The screenshots are deliberately cropped to components with the client's brand excluded — the engagement is public in outline as the mortgage-broker case study; the interface work is what this piece is for.
